In the early 80s, Bernard Normand started in the world of property management working for a gentleman named Harvey Loiselle, managing his 32 unit building. Additionally, Bernard worked as property manager with Remai Construction and Remai Realty.

Upon entering the real estate industry as a Realtor with Royal LePage Real Estate Saskatoon in 1983, a need for properties to be professionally managed was recognized among clients and fellow realtors. Thus, Normand Property Agencies was founded in 1991.
